Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together, and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Night Mare Moon. She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. Or so it seemed…
One thousand years later, Night Mare Moon escaped on the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration. With permanent night once again threatening the land, a group of young mares searched for the Elements of Harmony only to have them destroyed by Night Mare Moon. But with the fabled Sixth Element of Harmony and the magic of friendship, the Elements of Harmony were restored, and the younger sister was freed from the bitterness in her heart and reunited with the elder sister once again. With the threat of Night Mare Moon nothing more than a bad memory, harmony was restored. Harmony remained strong even in the face of future threats, from the return of the chaotic being Discord to the invasion of the Changelings.
But enough about eternal nights, chaos, and invading armies. For your average pony around Equestria, life brings plenty of challenges and disharmony; parasprites devouring the entire town, poison joke causing weird and hilarious side effects, random musical numbers that involve the whole town. But even amongst all the weirdness and chaos, friends are always there for you. And sometimes when the weirdness and friends are combined, well…
THE FUN HAS BEEN DOUBLED
