When Twilight whispered, a little anxiously, that Trixie was not usually like this, it told Princess Luna two things. One, that etiquette probably hadn't changed much in all the time she'd been away, and two, that Twilight was deeply concerned about the impression her friend was making on a Princess. Deeply gratified, the Princess of the night gave the purple pony a warm smile to show she wasn't in the least offended. Selecting a snack, Luna bit into it daintily and delicately, and was surprised by its deliciousness. Not that she had pegged Twilight as a bad cook or anything, it was merely that... well, she had read somewhere in Twilight's friendship letters that Spike did most of the culinary related chores around the library. It was a pleasant surprise. Trixie seemed to realize it about this time, for she remembered to thank Twilight and then seemed to become a little flustered. ”So, uhm, Trixie will help you project your memories, right? How exactly is that going to work?” Since The Great and Powerful Trixie was, in her own words, 'well known for her specialty in illusions, fireworks, and light shows,' Luna was sure that the unicorn would have no trouble understanding her explanation. "T'will be much the same as though thou wert doing an illusion for one of thy famous shows," Luna began. "Thou must think of thy illusions to project them and make them move, correct? only instead of thy usual illusions, I wilt be casting a spell to share my memories in your mind, which thou wilt think of, instead." Then, considering the way this sounded, she hastened to add "Please do not fear. I only intend to put good memories into the Starglass so... you need not be afraid of what thou might see..." |
