The Cloudosseum screamed with the voices of thousands. The city around it, too, teamed with ponies. They bought merchandise, pranced around and generally seemed psyched. For what? Simply looking at the arena would show the answer. There, in large words and massive pictures, Gilda was shown. It was her debut into the Wonderbolts. It was the day of her dreams! Literally! Tiny red diamonds were scattered throughout the seats, confetti from the pre show. The crowd suddenly died down as music started, heroic horns and soothing woodwinds sounded as percussion backed them up with military like precision. As it built up a stallions voice rang out over the Cloudosseum. "Mares and stallions. We are proud to present the first griffon to join the Wonderbolts, today's lead flier, and recent academy graduate....GILDA!" the crowd exploded into cheers as a team of Wonderbolts flew out from a single cloud in the middle of the arena, spiraling and twisting through the air before each landing on their own platform , Gilda's in the center and taking a bow. The show was about to begin! Even more confetti showered from the sky, filling the air with red diamonds. Gilda smiled and spread her wings wide. She belonged here, this was her dream. It was also the greatest moment of her life. She wished it would last forever...but the show must go on. She took off, climbing high into the sky at incredible speed, ahead of the rest of the team, beginning the show.

You have got to be kidding me. Really Gilda? Seriously? This is your dream? There were so many things wrong with this image that Rainbow wouldn't even go into. Her focus was getting this fat pile of feathers back to normal. Rainbow Dash looked at all the cheering fans around her. Alright, that's enough of that. Dash leaped into the air, and spread her wings wide. Time for a dose of reality. "HEY GILDA! GET REAL, DWEEB!" She was sure that was gonna get Gilda's attention. Everyone else didn't matter. They weren't real. They were just stupid children of Gilda's huge ego.

Gilda stopped in surprise as her friend appeared in the middle of the way. As glad as she was to see Dash at the show, she was also ruining it...unless "Ladies and Gentleman, Guest performer, RAINBOWDASH!" it worked, it was Gilda's dream after all, the crowd cheered on as the other Wonderbolts circled around them before shooting off in different directions. "Play along Dash." she said quickly before shooting straight up into the sky at speeds she'd never be able to attain in reality. "Double sonic boom coming up!" she yelled out before diving down.

Gilda wanted to include her in this trip to Crazytown? Rainbow watched Gilda go faster than she'd ever seen her go. Only in your dreams, birdbrain. Hm... Two can play at this game. This is a dream... So I can change it too. If she wants me to join her, I'll blow her out of the sky! Rainbow Dash focused hard on her own wings, and shot into the sky. In an instant, she was by Gilda. HECK YEAH! She'd never gone this fast in her entire life! She might never go this fast again! Dash was going to take advantage of it! "Get real, Gilda! Not even in your dreams are you as fast as me!" Rainbow looked back at her wings, which were literally glowing, before shooting downwards.

This was Gilda's show. As she saw Dash rush past her the sky darkened along with Gilda's expression. She wasn't going to get shown up here. She could beat Dash! She was a Wonderbolt! She was going to blow Dash out of the sky. With a flap of her wings Gilda sped up further. If Rainbow paid attention, she would her,e in the distance, something about the Wonderbolts showing off combat maneuvers. Gilda was mad and (especially in her dreams) she didn't have much of a filter,even if she didn't know it was a dream. Dash would quickly find a large angry griffon with claws approaching. Claws that would nearly pierce the skin of her back if they made contact, as the announcer talked about how griffon's combat was...slightly more direct than normal. "Slow it down Dash. This is the Wonderbolt's show!" Gilda said in a hushed, just able to be heard above the sound of rushing wind, tone.

Seriously? Gilda was going to attack her?! "Too bad you're not a Wonderbolt... Come on, even you have to admit that this isn't right. In what universe would you be a Wonderbolt, and not me? In what universe would the Wonderbolts let a newbie immediately lead the performance team? In what universe would this big a deal be made?!" Dash suddenly skid to a halt in the air. "This is a dream, Gilda! A dream! I'm not gonna play along with this! Go ahead and attack me! I dare you! But, at least use that brain of yours to try and remember how you got here! Do you remember going to the Wonderbolt Academy? Do you remember spending any time with the "Wonderbolts"? Come on, Gilda, use common sense!"

Gilda growled at Dash's words! She didn't need to think this through! She was FINALLY a Wonderbolt! Everyone was screaming her name! This was the best day of her life! "Shut up Dash....you're...jealous?" Gilda said, relaxing, then laughing. "Whatever...leave me to my show, you've already ruined it enough! Couldn't you just let me have one fricken show?!? Even if this IS a dream?" she said angrily, though Dash's words were starting to get to her, she didn't want them to though. This was awesome. Gilda doubted she'd EVER be able to do any of this again, if it didn't happen now "Why aren't you in Ponyville anyways, that where your real friends are, right?" she said, distracting herself, and hopefully Dash, from the matter at talon.

Rainbow Dash growled at the stubborn griffon. She didn't get it! And she was really gonna pull that crap about her friends, again?! She thought they got over this crap! "I'm not in Ponyville because I'm in Canterlot, where your fat flank is asleep! You haven't woken up in forever! I got put in here to wake you up!" Rainbow Dash took the moment to fly over to Gilda. "Some of my friends are in the same position as you. But, I chose to help you! Don't talk to me about my real friends!" She couldn't believe Gilda would have regressed like this in one dream. She didn't feel at all bad that she was going to bring Fluttershy as a surprise to one of their future meet-ups. "You need to wake up so that you can become a real Wonderbolt! With the real Rainbow Dash racing you all the way there!"

She paused at Dash's words, touched for a moment before being retaken by anger. "Tch, like you'd choose me over them." she said coldly. "Just let me sleep. This is as good as things are gonna get, so I might as well get nestled in." She said, landing and walking to a comfy cloud as the skies darkened considerably, along with her mood. "You're right. This is a dream...but you're a part of it, I'm gonna wake up, and I'm gonna be back in my cloudhouse alone like usual."
