The Great and Powerful Roommate!

Note: The title of this thread in no way reflects upon actual possible fanfiction titles. However, feel free to decide to use it as such

Anyway, we keep talking about it in the sidebar so I figured might as well make a thread to do a full discussion, writing, and various other things regarding the idea of a Trixie becomes Vinyl (and possibly Octavia's) roommate. Why? Because the idea sounds hilarious; the insufferable Trixie's egotistical workings, Vinyl's party-harty and prankster lifestyle, and Octavia being the only sane person in the group.

The question is still exactly how this is all gonna start off, but other things that will probably need to be looked at:

-Logistics on how to write the fic (Skype session? PM? I don't know)
-Side characters (I like the idea of Soarin' being a reoccuring character for some reason)
-Possible "episodes" (Octavia needs to impress a possible patron, Vinyl and Trixie screw something up sounds promising)
-And other things I can't think of

So then, any ideas or suggestions? Anyone?

Okay, just posting up ideas that Vinyl and I thought up for starting off the fic and getting out scenario set up:

Vinyl does something involving pyrotechnics and gak (details will probably be forever unknown) that forces her landlord to demand she either get a roommate who can keep an eye on her or she is to be evicted. As Octavia is not able to be her roommate for various reasons (too busy, needs to live in a place that can impress possible patrons, etc etc.), it is time to start a hunt for a roommate.

Eventually applicants start coming in, but Octavia states she has veto power over the choices. A montage comes in of either terrible ponies neither of them wants, ponies Vinyl wants but Octavia doesn't (like other dubsteppers or ponies Vinyl gets all flirty with), vice versa (other classical players or ponies that get all flirty with Octavia). Eventually all that is left is Trixie, who acts reasonable, if maybe a little odd, during the interview that, being the only option left really, gets the position.

And that is how Equestria was doomed for all eternity *nods*

Dont forget the perfect one that turns out to be a changeling. Also, you forgot that its hundreds of gallons of Gak. Also, vinyl doesnt only flirt with stallions...duh.
