Flipping through the pages very carefully, Twilight managed to hear what Compass Rose was telling her about it. His grandmother had given him this book along with a few others just before him and his family moved to Ponyville, causing a mental note to be made in asking the family if she could borrow the books to make copies of. Knowledge like that should be preserved for future generations, and this book happened to be one of them...but the younger unicorn's next words snapped her out of the daydream she was having. Not dragon lore? "Oh...sorry..." She apologized, blushing a bit at her error. Apparently the 'Sleeping Dragon' was a moniker given to a famous unicorn in the stories, and was apparently about as well-known as Starswirl the Bearded. "Oh...I see." Twilight added, catching the meaning.
Compass then suggested a page that had one of his favorite tales, so she turned to the specified story - carefully mind you, the pages were very old - and started glancing it over. Picturing the scenario in her head, the purple unicorn could have guessed that the enemies were brought to life with some sort of illusion-based magic, whether it be by the maze itself, or something - or someone else - entirely, but with the sunrise turning them to dust, rocks, and boulders, she wondered at what truly was behind it all. "If you liked stories such as this, then I would definitely recommend the books about Starswirl the Bearded. He was an amazing unicorn wizard for his time, and one of my idols." It was a bit embarrassing to say that she still had 'idols' in a sense, but to have the same magical potential as that famous unicorn was something she strived for.
