Okay, so, after some time and allowing for suggestions, I have decided to make some changes in terms of staff and other site things.
”Of the Months”
The impression I got was that the most popular parts of the “of the months” had been that the winners of the Character and Member spotlights had an interview that got posted in the Foal Free Press. So what we’re going to do is remove all the spotlights but those two. Each month we’ll vote in the last week, and voting lasts the full week. They’ll be placed in the sidebar announcing their winning with a link to a thread in which their interviews will be posted.
I will most likely close down the Foal Free Press for now.
Staff
I’ve decided to specialize the staff a little more, with more clear job positions as well as ensuring some redundancy in case someone is not available. With that in mind then, ALL POSITIONS ARE OPEN, and anyone is open to apply. Here are the positions that I would like fulfilled:
Spotlight Moderator: Responsible for the running of the spotlights; voting, interviews, placing it in the sidebar, etc.
Plot Moderator: Responsible for moderating and administrating any plot events.
Banking Moderator:Responsible for banking on the site, ensuring that bits are kept track of and that the shop is well run.
Archivist: Deals with archiving the old, closed, abandoned threads and profiles.
If you all can think of any other moderators or roles that should be needed, let me know. All of them will be allowed to approve profiles.
For those already staff, please inform me if you wish to keep your position or feel incapable of keeping it up.
