Konichiwa. Oresama wa Siruvaa Staa Apperu desu.
Or in English: Hi, I'm Silver Star Apple! *Evil Grin* Want to hear it in Latin? How about Al Bhed?
Anyway, hi. I've been RPing for 5 years; I like MLP:FIM, Videogames, and Anime; I read a lot, I jog and work to offset the fact that I don't get out much, and in my spare time I enjoy modifying my games to make them even harder. I like music, and while I am practicing my art, I don't seem to be much of an artist.
Favourite Pony: Twilight Sparkle.(Pinkie Pie is a close second, and my favourite Background Pony is Applejack. ...Just kidding, it's Vinyl Scratch)
Favourite Fire Emblem: Henry.(Second-favourite is Robin/The Tactician.)
Favourite Fallout Character: Mr House.(Second favourite? It's a tie between Arcade Gannon and Veronica.)
I've had the idea for my character for a while. His name is Silver Star, a greedy and cold eggheaded businesspony Unicorn from Canterlot. He always wears a suit, he rarely sleeps or blinks, and his voice alternates between creepy monotones and semi-flirty(Innuendos abound, as he implies things so he won't have to answer for promising them. He also likes to exploit the concept of 'Exact words'.) tempting buy-my-stuff tones.
Except, spoiler alert, he's actually an Apple Family pony named Star Apple. He's lazy, likes to make things as efficient and organized as possible, but he never breaks his word.(His word just wasn't what you assumed it was, when he and you originally struck that deal). He is a good haggler and salespony, and he can(Or rather, he believes he can) sell anything to anything or anypony.
To get more money, he moved to Canterlot, got a makeover, put on a suit, combed his mane, and replaced his cowboy hat(A different make and model to Applejack's hat, and a different shade) with a top hat. This disguise fools just about everypony. (Most NPCs, most players, and pretty much anyone whenever it would be funnier that way).
However, he's very susceptible to cute things. The cold creepily intense businesspony or aloof always-tired farmpony fronts, whichever he's using at the moment, both melt away at the sight of something adorable, like a kitten, or puppy, or even something horrifying that most ponies would find very not-adorable.
Also, he loves food, especially anything sweet, and his appetite never seems to end. Fruits, cherry pie, sweets, and fancy teas with insane amounts of sugar put in. (He may or may not also secretly like meat. How does this board feel about omnivorous ponies?) He's not really that into apples, and will prefer to eat other things when given the opportunity. He'll haggle for a lower price or buy in bulk for less, even when he doesn't need to, purely out of habit.
His Cutie Mark is a Star Constellation of a Tree. His Cutie Mark represents Connections. Business connections, seeing how different ponies and groups influence each other, calculating the odds of things happening, calculating angles and trajectories for show-offy trick shots with his bouncy ball(He keeps it hidden inside his hat when he's not using it), figuring out most of who a pony is just from looking at them, and their personality from talking to them, and figuring out their weaknesses, insecurities, and how best to manipulate them.
As a Unicorn, he cannot buck trees. He picks the apples with his magic, instead. He can safely and reliably harvest around 27 apple trees at once, and 31 when he pushes himself to his limits and starts slipping up, dropping apples as his power and concentration is spread too thin. (Note: In episode 3 of MLP:FIM, Twilight Sparkle casually began harvesting 34 apple trees at once without even breaking a sweat. Silver Star/Star Apple is powerful, but Twilight Sparkle is stronger.)
He's very confident in his abilities, and he likes self-improvement. He wants to be the fastest, strongest, richest, most powerful, smartest, and all-around best. He likes friendly competition. He doesn't care about being the best-looking, but he jokes about already having that title.
He dislikes laziness in others, especially lazy Canterlot nobles. He particularly dislikes Prince Blueblood, and wants to trick him into a very bad deal some day, outwitting him spectacularly. The plan will be great, he just hasn't thought of it yet.
But he doesn't really 'get' other ponies, or the concept of Friendship, and he's not used to caring about others. He's never really felt like he truly belonged anywhere, and he only feels okay when he's winning, or making a deal and coming out on top. He likes making money, as it makes him feel useful. He doesn't fit in with most of the other Apple Family Ponies and he very rarely attents Apple Family Reunions, but he doesn't dislike them- he just wishes they'd try more than simple farmwork, and they wish he'd stop messing around in Canterlot with his business deals and investments, and try some good honest hard work on the farms back home.
He can be redeemed, and become a nicer pony. ...Eventually.
