#Personality ;
Argentum is a very calm sort, usually thinking things out before acting. Though, he will never hesitate to do the right thing. Lending a claw, protecting a pony, or even giving his few extra bits to those who helped him out, or who need it more than him.
Argentum DOES have an angry side, but it’s rarely seen, and can be as scary as it sounds, though he still restrains himself as best as he can so no one gets too hurt.
Ari has wings, and is capable of flight, but due to years of staying on the ground with Unicorns or Earth Ponies (Pegasi and snowstorms don’t exactly mix very well.) he’s not used to using them. He can fly short distances at a slow speed, but he usually just keeps to walking unless there’s a major need for his flight.
It should also be noted, where most dragons eat Gems whenever they can get their hands on them, Argentum will eat the same foods as a pony most of the time, even cooling some of the hotter dishes so he can handle them. He only collects a few gems on rare occasion, as a snack from time to time.
Along the same vein of his more pony-like appetite, Argentum dreams of creating a library, finding the knowledge that can be obtained in a book infinitely more valuable than gems or gold, and he wishes to make a horde of information, accessible to all those who wish to learn.-CoughNERDcoughcough
#History ;
To the north of Equestria, past the mountains to the north of the Crystal Empire, lies a town called Winters Rest. A small village built into the base of a mountain, a small gem mine giving the town something to trade. Near the town is a glacier with a cave dug into its cold mass. Inside this cave is where Argentum was hatched.
He grew up with the ponies, playing with the foals, helping the librarian organize books, and doing various jobs around the town, keeping a happy relationship with the ponies of the town. He became their friends, and they became his extended family.
Throughout the years, Argentum began helping with more and more tasks, even helping rebuild buildings that got damaged in the storms, or even helping get gems out of the mines. Although, through it all, his favorite feeling was curling up with a good book about adventures, and dreaming about, some day, leaving the town and making his way around the world, and write about his adventures.
Until, one day, his father began to see him as a threat to his home. Dragons protecting their caves and their hordes take precedence over everything else… The two fought, far enough away from town to not hurt anyone, but as they found out, close enough to cause concern. When everything was over, Argentum stood over his father, who muttered something about ‘losing his horde.’ Argentum declined, and asked for his independence, and asking him for the freedom to travel the world and make his own life, not inherit it from his family.
And, just like that, Argentum left his family to travel, journaling all of his experiences. When he filled up a Journal, he made sure to send it back home, so his family and friends could hear everything that had happened. He never stayed in one place for too long, only rolling in and gathering information about the area, and then moving along.
Along his journey, he also found other dragons, though they were few and far between. Some of them using their stature to demand things from Ponies just because the ponies feared them. Argentum didn’t take kindly to these things, and didn’t hesitate to fight the dragons to get them to back down, earning himself respect, and a few extra scars.
Finally, Argentums travels brought him to a small town. Rich with life and color. A very big turn from the town he came from. He had heard tales about this town. The saviors of Equestria live here, it seems to be a magnet for danger, and the Princesses show up here from time to time. Argentum knew he would spend quite a bit of time here… And would need more journals.The Roleplayer's Corner

Argentum rushed through the town, the shouts of several ponies coming from behind him. They were hot on his tail, following his tracks through the soft snow. He rounded another corner, spotting a small group of ponies that branched off of the group that was chasing him. They spotted him, and started to close in around him. He took off running between two buildings, diving over a small snowbank, burying himself in the snow. He heard the Hoofprints run past, waited for a few extra seconds, and breathed a sigh of relief.
As he stood, shaking the powdery snow off of himself, he heard a laugh behind him. He froze, turning slowly to look at the small filly that was looking at him. “Gotcha.” She said just before Ari was hit, falling over with a groan of pain… “A-ari? Are you okay!?” The Filly rushed over. “It was only a snowball!”
Argentum opened an eye, grinning at the filly, tossing her into the soft snow pile behind him, before standing up and continuing the fun that was a snowball fight in the midst of a fresh
