As she touched into the strange creation, the mock version of her sister's armor left her. Once again it was just her and the elements of the dream... Well, and whatever this was that she had thought up.
Sjel ended up a bit less deep in the glob, but only just so. Logically, she imagined that she could think her way out of it, but there wasn't much point in that. She had already gotten stuck and she didn't want to risk that it might fade away entirely if she tried to change it in any way.
She had little time to deal with her sister's objections to the situation. She hadn't decided what she would say to further prove her point and her gut was telling her that something was amiss, something was taking place.
The water below was unsettling and much too high for this time of day. She had noticed this during the chase, but now it was clear. The wind was more bracing than she remembered it to be before. She doubted she wouldn't have noticed this during her search.
”It is not the time to fight, sister, it is time to understand,” she said, hoping that she could still get through to the other cow. ”Find whatever explanation you need in order to realize I am your bondkin, but in time you will know that it is a dream. For now, we have a more pressing matter.”
”What is going on down below? And with the air?” She asked Lys, unaware that much of what was taking place would not be felt by her sister. This was Lys' dream, in Sjel's mind, that meant she should understand it best, despite how Sjel rarely understood her own dreams.
