Congratulations! You all now have the chance to be related to the Great and Powerful Trixie! Specifically, I’m opening up Trixie’s family to try and fill it out some and learn more about my own character. Information and some rules below.
The Lulamoon Family
The Lulamoon family is an old family in Canterlot. While not nobility, they have a history of service and excellence, breeding government officials, academics, guardsmen, etc. They have a small estate in the city and are generally a well-respected family. The majority of the family is unicorns, but like any old family, the occasional pegasi or Earth Pony might slip in. Regardless, the family is well known for its blue and silver colorings, almost like a trademark. Cutie Marks often incorporate moons and stars into their designs, when appropriate of course.
Trixie’s Siblings
I don’t have a set number of siblings for Trixie, but I do know it’s a relatively large family so I’m looking at maybe around 5 or so? In any case, there are a few rules:
1) All the siblings are going to share a similar color scheme to Trixie. Here’s a color guide to Trixie for reference: www.deviantart.com/art/Trixie-Color-Guide-215463118
2) Being an older family with a history of service, Trixie’s siblings are going to be in or are working towards being in relatively well respected positions. Trixie’s profession as a showmare is basically an oddity. Also means chances are they went to Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns.
3) Speaking of oddities, Trixie herself is an oddity in the family. She has her personal tic (speaks in third-person), has a big ego, highly flamboyant, etc. The rest of the family is more in line with the rest of what you’d expect of Canterlot, being more reserved and professional. You can still have fun with it, but at the end of the day, Trixie’s supposed to be the oddest member of the family.
4) Trixie’s in the middle somewhere in birth order.
5) There is no set opinion of Trixie; you’re free to have the siblings think of her in anyway you want. Do note, however, Trixie herself hasn’t kept in contact with the family all that much. They know she’s alive, they’re aware of the Ursa incident, and get word of her shows and stuff every once in a while.
