Piña had absolutely no idea where Berry Punch had ran off to, but it was okay. Her sister was probably off doing something with Ruby Pinch or whatever. It was fine for Piña as it meant she could get a chance to look around Ponyville a bit more. Despite being from Canterlot, Piña found that this small Earth Pony town aesthetic fit her a lot better. If it wasn’t for the fact that the Apples had a practical monopoly on cider and apple juice around here, Piña could see her family maybe setting up a new farm down here. As much as she hated to admit it, however, the Apples did make the best apple juice. Shoot, she was drinking a cartoon of their juice right now. One day she would figure out how they did it and then make an even better one…probably using Apple family apples since they were also the best apples. Dang it, they won either way.
Ah well, no point focusing on that losing battle. For now all she could do was throw away the carton and get back to exploring the town! On some of her last visits she had already been to Sugar Cube Corner and some of the other central features. Not wanting to look at that again, she had wandered off towards some random direction. She was surprised to find, however, that she had wandered up by the school house. Fortunately it was the weekend: she’d hate to be mistaken for a local foal skipping class. At the very least, the playground was available to play on.
Glancing around, she spotted something that looked like a pole with two balls attached to it. The top of the thing made it look like it was supposed to spin, but she wasn’t exactly sure if it did. Well, there was only one way to find out!
With a running start, Piña leapt at one of the ball things and grabbed onto it. As the rope strectched and the ball went flying forward with her it…only went forward. Darn, no spinning. Still, the now makeshift swing did well enough, and Piña simply enjoyed herself as she swung on the ball.
