#Name; Symphony Style (everyone calls her Symphony)
#Age Group ; young mare
#Gender ; Female/Mare
#Species; Unicorn
#Cutie Mark ; its a Base Clef and an upside down treble clef, forming a heart
#Occupation ; Professional singer, generally for the Canterlot Court, but she often travels to perform elsewhere
#Powers and Abilities ; First off, Symphony's voice is divine, there is nothing like it. She can hit any note that exists on the spectrum of scales, which can sometimes seem intimidating. Next she has what would be called Synesthesia, in the musical sense. Every color, number, and letter plays a little note of music for her. She can sort of "turn it off" if she ever needs to concentrate, but if she ever has free time she will let the symphony around her play. Lastly in the natural abilities, she also has perfect pitch.
Now since she is a unicorn, she also has a little bit of an extra bit to this. First off, she can make musical instruments play themselves, though the more she tries to do, the more complicated it is for her and the more likely it is for them to sound not very good. Lastly can enchant things to make a beat, or make a sound in a melodic way
#Physique ; She is a tall and skinny mare with a broad chest which holds her large lungs used for belting out long notes.
#Mane and fur color and style ; She has a medium length mane, with a long-ish and bushy tail. Her mane and tail is two colors, a pale baby blue/cotton candy blue, and a very dusty violet.
#Eye color ; She has sweet green-teal eyes with long eyelashes

Symphony may seem like a shy or a quiet mare, but that is far from the truth. She doesn't speak much, well A) out of habbit since her parents were very much seen but not heard kind of people but also B) because she saves her voice for singing, not nonsense speaking, hey she can get a soar throat like anyone else! Sure she'll talk to you if you speak with her but she wont instigate a conversation without necessity.
She can become very close to different Mares and Stallions, but she hasn't been very close with relatives. She'll treat relatives with the respect they deserve, and be a bit looser around them, but she wont necessarily want to be around them. Her closest friends know every little bit about her.
Often she'll look like she's sad, or simply thinking hard. She isn't really going into depth about anything in her mind, she is just trying to decipher the music she hears that no one else seems to hear but her.
Despite her talent, and renown as a singer, she doesn't boast much (well, she doesn't talk much, and why would she waste her time on boasting?). Honestly, she doesn't care much for anyponies judgement on her talent. Someone could tell her they very much disliked her performance, and she wouldn't dwell much on it another minute.
#History ;
Symphony was born high up in Canterlot, the last name of Styles having a great reputation of calm and serious thinkers. Many of the Styles previous to her had gotten serious and "sensible" jobs. They were wealthy, and it was assumed that one day when everybody had squandered their money away, they would still be rich. Symphony had always been the odd one out in that family. She had 4 sibling, 3 colts and a filly. Her sister had been born not much before her, and she, along with her brothers and parents, was a light grayish color. Not too much darker than white, but still gray. However she was colorful, they were dull colors sure, but still colored.
When she was born, her grandmother from her mother's side said "She has a Symphony of colors, unlike you lot." He grandmother had known the importance of color and was glad to see one of her grandchildren was like her. From then she had been called Symphony. She was often teased n her family as a little joke when it came to her colors, but she never minded. Inside jokes were fun.
When she grew up, her mother and father impressed on her that being seen and not heard was the best thing in life. It was hard for her, but she managed it. It was especially hard whenever she was at an art gallery, or reading a book, because tunes would appear in her head. She would have the biggest urge to humm or sing them, but she couldn't, it wasn't allowed. Because of this, it took her a long time o get her cutie mark.
Long after her other siblings had received their cutie marks, she still had a blank flank. Her parents were worried what "insane cutie mark" would pop up on their colorful daughter. It wasn't till she went out to her Grandmother's house in Hoofington. Her grandmother was an artist going into her old age. The colors of her paintings poked at Symphony's ability listen to nonexistent music. When her mother went out of the house for some apple pie, Symphony couldn't help but start singing, since nopony was around. Her voice filled the house, and leaked through a few open windows. Ponies that were walking by stopped to listen, and soon there was a small crowd wondering who was making that noise.
Her grandmother soon came and was confused by the people. Having bad hearing, she had to get into the house before she could properly make out the noise. A small smile came upon her, and she clopped off to find her granddaughter. She was still absorbed in song, prancing around the house as if to dance. She waited until Symphony noticed her before she said anything. She simply said to Symphony "come here" and led her out of the house. Every pony praised her and stomped their hooves. It was right then in that moment that her cutie mark appeared, a sweet thing.
When she arrived home back in Canterlot, her parents were not pleased with her cutie mark, though they never spoke of it out loud... at least not in front of her. She grew up, and continued to be the odd one out. She wanted to go after what her cutie mark confirmed to her what she was. It was hard at first, no one wanted to hire a little filly, but soon she managed to get through it. Her first gig was a simple one at a celebration. After that, many ponies wanted her to sing at events and parties. Soon the Canterlot court got wind of her extreme talent. She started singing at many royal events, and she knew her dream was being realized. The Roleplayer's Corner

Symphony yawned as she woke up, stretching out her long limbs and rolling her head on her neck. Leaping out of bed, the covers flew up into the air, which she corrected in the air with her magic. It had been very late before she had fallen asleep last night, her grandmother had sent her a new painting. It had colors flying everywhere, and beauty was eminent in it, and her mind couldn't have helped but started to create a magnificent ballad that held the meaning that was behind this painting.
Still yawning she trotted over to the kitchen. It was messy, she had tried making a cake yesterday and had made I giant mess. Instead of making herself breakfast, she decided to go and eat something at a restaurants or a dinner. A brush came out from a drawer and started brushing her tail and mane. She hadn't been born with the inclination to maintain her appearance at all time, but it had become expected of her ever since her first performance in Canterlot. She grabbed a pick nick basket, and her little songbird followed her out the front door.
It was still very early in the morning and very few ponies were out and about. Instead of eating inside, Symphony ordered food to go, and put it in a little basket she had brought. Leisurely she walked over to the small grassy field and laid out a blanket and placed the basket on top of it. Opening it she started to eat and the world around her play it's music, and she got herself lost in her own little world.
