Little dinnerware for a little pony, so cute, even when the way she looked was all blown up do to his modeling spectacles. He pushed down the levers on each lens, returning everything to normal magnification, and he pulled out all the construction manuals, laying them out, open on the floor, showing how all the rooms were meant to be constructed and what rooms even existed in the set. Most of the parts were for a garden for the little breezy, but there was more than enough to work with to make a super nice, albeit, cramped living space when you include her wings. That's why it would need a bunch of open spaces.
Pointing at the breezy as she sorted her dishes, “Alright, you want those, but what rooms do you want?” he pointed at the instructions at the floor. Except for the barn in the Sweet Apple Acres set, the main living quarters were only in the Canterlot Castle and the Crystal Castle sets so that limited her selection a bit, but not much. If anything, who wouldn't be happy with two massive dining halls and 30 plus bathrooms. Reed knew he wouldn't have a problem living there. “Take your pick.”
As he waited for her to choose, he went to get his other tools, found in his cupboard. A little wrapped up towel, filled with a little glue bottle, several sets of tweezers designed to be used by a ponies mouth, a really sharp knife, and some swabs. He unraveled them on the table.

Shylette marched up and down the sets of instructions. All the sheets had things she liked and things that she felt were not worthy of herself. She liked this room's furniture, but that room's layout. This room had a lovely fireplace. that master bedroom was bigger. She couldn't settle for just one building, either! the faerie pony spotted a pencil, and swooping over to scoop it up, she set to work.
By the time Reed had collected his tools, Choices had been made. on the back of the instructions to Canterlot Gardens, Shylette had sketched out a new blueprint, Where the Crystal Palace rose tall and imposing out of the roof of the Sweet Apple Acres barn. The towers had also been replaced by largest towers from the Canterlot Castle, but the tops of them were now some of the bigger houses from the Griffon Kingdom set. It was a massive, strange conglomerate of buildings that looked like nothing so much as...
...a castle built of bird houses.
The breezie herself, meanwhile, was alternating between taking nibbles of her sugar cube and sorting through the sets furniture to find the ones she wanted. She looked up from trying to find out if the peices from a Sweet Apple Acres bed would fit a Canterlotion four-poster bed frame. The actual mattress part on the canterlot set was actually just a solid, hard peice. She couldn't be expected to sleep on that!
Quite the development. "Uhhhh..." he let slip as he looked over the new blueprint. How a breezie had this kind of know how when it can to building schematics, he'll never know, but she knew what she wanted, which was helpful. Didn't change the fact that he had no idea how he was gonna build this quickly with only his hooves.
"Hmmm... are you sure you don't just want a birdhouse? This is gonna take a while for me to build." he asked rhetorically, knowing he wouldn't get an answer, but more so, probably an annoyed expression. She had quite the ego on her thinking she would need something this big for herself, unless she had a family somewhere she wanted it made for. "I... guess... I'll start with the barn first? Having second thoughts? Ohhh who am I kidding, probably not." So he got to work as she ate on her sugar cube, picking up the large walls of the barn and raising them to an upright position in order to glue them together.
There was no way this was gonna work... why did he get himself roped into this.
Reed's expression when he looked over her design nettled Shylette for a moment. What, did he think she couldn't design a home fit for a brugh? How insulting! And then he had the nerve to ask if she was sure she didn't want one of those simple, clunky inelegant box houses. Without any windows and not even two storeys. A round hole for an entrance. Not even a proper door! Honestly! Did he think she deserved such unfinery? She was tempted to fly on up there and give him a sharp tap on the nose!
Whatever he felt, however, he still began to work, and Shylette's wroth cooled a little. That was well. Patience and diligence, and the effort to follow orders even when you didn't agree. These were good qualities in a servant. Despite his need for proper training, Shylette was only becoming more and more fond of the pegasus. He looked pretty despondent, though. The faintest inkling of the true problem came through to the little pony, and she set down her half-eaten sugar cube and flitted over to him. She waited until he paused a moment and looked at her and then she planted a tiny sugary kiss on his nose. There there! She followed it up with a gentle patting. You can do it, the caress seemed to say. I believe in you. She gave him a kind smile and floated over to try and pull the next piece he needed over to him.
Too bad that wouldn't change the fact that her plan actually was unworkable, as Reed would eventually discover.
