Whether or not they performed at an event was irrelevant to Trixie, but not having to compete with them for attention did make the Running of the Leaves a pretty good option. All she would have to deal with was the problem of having to return to Ponyville, but they had to have been over the whole Ursa Minor thing by now, right? After all, since then there was Discord and Changelings so her little incident was most likely a forgotten inconvenience by this point. Still, she felt a little nervous about the idea, and she still wasn’t exactly up for meeting Twilight Sparkle again. But her career needed to be reinvigorated, and doing at least one major gig would be a good way to get it going again. She wasn’t going to let Twilight Sparkle or the citizens of Ponyville knock her down again. As for Soarin’s little comment, she just stared at him for a second before turning her attention back to Spitfire.
”Yes, Trixie thinks that performing at the Running of the Leaves or some other small festival would be a good idea.”
As much she enjoyed talking about it, planning out gigs and her return to glory was tiring for Trixie. She found herself wanting to talk about something else, but the only other topics at hand would have to involve these two somehow. What could she tease them about when she only knew them for such a short amount of time. Well, Spitfire seemed rather disappointed and had been kind of awkward since she walked in and saw her with Soarin’. Was there the possibility that the Wonderbolt Captain had certain intentions for Soarin’? Hmmm, nah, that wasn’t a good conversation starter. Digging into some other ponies love life, no matter how fun it sounded, was rude even for her normally low standards of decorum. So that basically left them either talking about the Wonderbolts or the cloudwalking spell, and Trixie had enough jumping out of windows for the day.
”So then, how many other Wonderbolts are there? Should Trixie be expecting more of them to walk in?”
