[/size]So today was her birthday and she was having a party, but not at her own wishes. She was on vacation, relaxing and just spending time with the family, she didn’t expect to have to have a birthday party too. Spitfire liked things smaller and closer to home on her off days, it helped her stay grounded and remain the pony she was. Thought she was no going to go against her mother in wanting to give her daughter a party, she just though it would be smaller. Nope. Her mother had gone to the queen herself and asked for a room to have the party, one of the gala rooms to be exact. The queen didn’t say no either, she seemed quite joyed over the thought of Spitfire having a party. I guess connections to Celestria paid off?
Of course all of Equestria was invited to celebrate this moment with her; she would be no where without her fans. T would feel wrong to have them not invited to the party. Plus if it was only close friends then the Wonderbolts would be her only guests. She had put so much time into that team that she had little to no social life at this point. Most of her day had been spend in the clouds just relaxing, every family member seemed to be rushing off to do something. Spitfire, even though she hated it, was grounded. Finally getting dragged to the doctor, she was given an order of rest and no flying for a bit, her body and her wings needed to rest. She was sure that was the case with all the other Wonderbolts, it was bad to overwork the body. After a quick and what seemed short lunch, she was carried down to canterlot, royal style. The whole guard ponies came to pick her up, her facial expression not happy. She was a little embossed. A wonderbolt not flying!?
Getting shoved into a room, it wasn’t long before she heard music and the chatter of ponies downstairs. Ahh it seemed the party had started, without her. Only a couple minutes later if her younger sister come busting in with a covered bag in her mouth, shutting the door with her back hoof. Placing it on the bed, she zipped it open and showed the dress. A dress?! ”I can’t just wear something that is not a dress” she groaned a bit frustrated with the choice of outfit. But her sister’s face seemed unchanged, ” Sis we want you to look like a mare for once, just once” she said and walked out the room, there was no use in starting an argument. It wasn’t like there was anything wrong with being a tomboy, Spitfire was never much of the girly girl. But to the wishes of her family she slipped on the get up and tried to brush her hair a little bit. Oh but she felt like a little doll.
With a huff and a puff she marched downstairs, sneaking into the crowds of pones, but that didn’t work. Every pony could see her with this bright dress on and whatnot. So she was greeted and said happy birthday to right and left. She could even see where her mother was or her siblings, maybe mingling, maybe stuffing their face at the food bar thing. For the mean time she put on her big girl pony pants and braved it out, greeting some fans and taking pictures with them, as much as she hated the dress, she wouldn’t let that show one bit tonight.
