||| CHARACTER NAME |||
#Name; Rogue Moon
#Age Group ; Adult (around mid-thirties or late twenties)
#Gender ; Mare
#Species; Pegasus
#Cutie Mark ; CLICK HERE
#Occupation ; the captain of the Ponies for Accidental Weather unit. (the P.A.W. unit)
#Powers and Abilities ; Like all pegasi, she can manipulate weather and clouds, something she's very good at. She's especially good at navigating and flying late at night, when Luna's moon is out in the sky or dealing with stray hurricanes and lightning storms. Also, she has very sharp instincts which has kept her alive all these years.
#Physique ; She's very fit and while she has noticeable muscles (especially in her wings), it isn't excessive. After all, she isn't the strongest of ponies but she's a talented flier.
#Mane and fur color and style ; Moon's mane is a dull brownish-red with a red streak while her tail is red with a large dull rust streak in the middle. Her tail is cut short and is usually quite messy, something you don't see in very many mares. Meanwhile, her fur is a dark blue in color.
#Eye color ; Somewhat golden
#Other appearance details ; Her wings are of medium length but are extremely strong, more so than most other pegasi. This makes them very durable and are very suitable for difficult flying maneuvers but also makes them hard to fly with if she wasn't used to it.
#Personality ;This mare seems like your average pegasus to many ponies that first meet her. It takes a certain situation or amount of time to see her true colors. This is because she prefers to keep a low profile when around strangers, blend in instead of stand out. This is simply because of habit, don't bother others and they won;t bother you.
Now, Moon can be a great friend to good ponies who don't irk her. She's loyaler than a dog and will always watch out for her friends as best as she can. At times she can seem a bit stiff but normally she tries to be playful and cheery. This pony likes equality. When she's not on duty, she prefers to treat everypony equally but she'll never hesitate to use her leadership or power over other ponies to get the job done.
If you decide to get on Rogue's bad side, let me tell you, it's very unpleasant but somewhat easy to do. Rogue is protective and a tad bit touchy when it comes to her loved ones, especially her family. If you manage to upset her continuously with little reason to do so then she'll make her dislike of you very apparent. She's working on controlling her temper but it's still a bit short. If you want to crush this mare's spirits you better be strong because she won't go down without a fierce fight.
Overall, Rogue Moon's a good mare who had a rough past and is trying to improve herself. She's forgiving as long as you apologize and respects your opinions as long as you back them up though she's rather close-minded to certain topics.
#History ;
Rogue Moon began her life in a poor family in Manehatten. Her father was a unicorn who worked as an editor for a small time magazine while her pegasus mother was a tour guide. She had two brothers, one of them a pegasus (her twin) and the other a unicorn. Her parents had little time for their children and barely managed to get by so Rogue and her siblings were mainly left to themselves, not even being able to afford schooling in the big city. Things took a turn for the worse when the touring company that her mother worked for could no longer compete with a newer one and went bankrupt, leaving the mother unemployed and the family poorer than ever.
Around this time both parents had been discussing giving up their children for adoption. Perhaps their children might get a better life that way. It was during this time of hushed talk when the three siblings got closer, their parents had even less time for them now and the streets of Manehatten could get dangerous for young foals so they learned to cooperate with each other to avoid such dangers. However, this only made it harder for them to seperate when their parents finally gave them up and they were forced to go live in an orphanage.
At first, everything was okay. All three of them stayed at the same orphanage for awhile but nothing could last. Especially if you're an orphan. Their younger brother, High Hoof, was taken first. He had gone to a special orphanage especially for unicorns then the twins were taken to an orphanage for pegasi. It was in these facilities that Rogue and Shadow, her brother, began learning how to fly and High Hoof to do magic.
Flying lessons for Rogue were terrible times. She was constantly teased for her wings. They were smaller than the other foals' wings and it took her awhile before she could get used to it. Even then, ponies mocked her endlessly because of her wings and blank flank; almost always Shadow Stalker was her only friend.
Then, it was time to be put into the foster care system. Now that she had a basic understanding of flying it would be easier to find foster parents for her. Rogue was separated from her brother but it was not without a fight. Her first foster home lasted a mere 12 days. It would be like this until the day she could work, traveling from foster home to foster home. Sometimes she'd manage to see Shadow or High Hoof but these occurrences were rare.
Only one foster home had left a huge impact on RogueMoon's life. Her 8th foster parents in Canterlot already had a son, Eclipse, that was Rogue's age. They thought that fostering this pegasus would give their own son a playmate. The two of them became very good friends and they continue to be friends till this day. Before these unicorns gave up on her and gave her back, she managed to introduce Eclipse to her siblings and they gladly welcomed him into their little family.
She went to Cloudsdale once she became of age, working as a simple weather pony. Her twin brother was a flight instructor for talented pegasi, her younger brother became a doctor specializing in the art of healing via unicorn magic and Eclipse became part of the Royal Guard. All of them had found their special talents. All of them except Rogue. Rogue was still a blank flank around this time. It wouldn't be until she joined the P.A.W. unit that she'd finally get her cutie mark.
Rogue had joined the P.A.W. unit after she had helped track down and take care of a stray blizzard that was created by an accident in the Weather Factory. The leader of the unit during this time had seen her potential and had her trained. She's been with them ever since, slowly making her way to the spot of captain.
When Moon finally got her cutie mark it had been late at night. A very heavy lightning storm had been created and it had traveled pretty far out by the time it had been reported. No one but her could track it down and navigate well enough to get to it in the dark. Once the storm had been dealt with someone pointed out that she finally got her cutie mark. It took the others awhile to figure out what it meant but it made perfect sense to her.
Now that Rogue Moon has grown older she's thinking of settling down a bit more. In fact, she just adopted a colt a few years ago and is thinking of having kids of her own, even though it'll conflict with her work.The Roleplayer's Corner

#Sample RP ;She was back in here, in the orphanage once again. Sure it was a different orphanage but all of them looked the same. Except this time, she was walking through these doors for a whole other purpose; to adopt. Even before the pegasus had thought of having kids of her own she knew she was going to adopt a foal first. Maybe if she could give at least just one foal a permanent home and save them from suffering, she'd feel like she's done something right.
Rogue absentmindedly followed the mare who worked at the orphanage, hardly listening to the pony rambling on about how many orphans they had or how happy an orphan would be if she decided to adopt. The blue mare had heard it a million times before so there was no need to listen to it again now. Finally, the two of them reached a small waiting area and the other mare left her to get the foal she was supposed to meet.
Soon enough, the earth pony came back with a young colt with a squash colored coat. She muttered a few things to the small pegasus before smiling at Rogue, introducing the two ponies and saying something about taking their time then she was gone.
Moon smiled gently at the colt who stared back blankly at her. A rush of sympathy went through her body as her golden eyes met his and she broke the gaze only to nod in understanding. There was no doubt about it, he was the one. "Hello, I'm RogueMoon and I'm going to be your new mom."
