||| FROST BLOSSOM |||
#Name; Frost Blossom
#Age Group ; Young adult
#Gender ; Male
#Species; Pegasus
#Cutie Mark ; None; remains a blank flank.
#Occupation ; Frost has a hard time keeping employment and often ends up doing small odd jobs to make ends meet. He has been seen most recently working for the mail service, but as for how long that will last, no one really knows.
#Powers and Abilities ; Despite being a blank flank, Frost does have a couple of talents, although unremarkable by his standards; he can move clouds and/or disperse them like most Pegasi can, but also has an uncanny ability to predict the amount of moisture a cloud contains just by looking at it. In a sense, he can use this to judge the weather, but considering how the weather is mostly controlled by his peers, Frost finds this knowledge useless and often puts himself down about it.
He also believes he can hear clouds talk, or what they're 'thinking', but keeps quiet about this to avoid being called crazy.
#Physique ;
#Mane and fur color and style ; Frost’s mane has two tones; a smokey grey, with highlights of dusty blue. His tail follows similar coloring. Both are long but generally well kempt, aside from seeming windswept after flights. His fur is a soft, pale white; easy on the eyes.
#Eye color ; A pale blue similar to his mane highlighting.
#Personality ;
Frost is as his name suggests; a bit of a cold shoulder towards others, yet very warm hearted. He isn’t shy, per sey, but dislikes most social interaction for how noisy it can be. He is a very calm individual who prefers to observe situations as opposed to acting upon them. This seeming solitude stems back from an uneasy childhood, where his tall, gawky form and blank flank earned him a lot of flak from his peers.
To this end, Frost cannot trust others very easily, yet those that prove themselves earn a spot in his heart. The few friends and family he has are adored and shown the rare, loveable side Frost keeps hidden away. To most, however, Frost can come off as a sullen fellow, and can often find him staring up at the sky with a blank look. In truth he is thinking about what is, what could have been... what should be. A true contemplator.
He is pretty aloof when comfortable, almost like a completely different pony. Its just hard to crack the timid shell he has, but once broken, Frost truly becomes the Blossom his parents made him out to be.
#History ;
Even as a colt Frost was always a bit bland, although his parents consistently remarked of his genuity and creativity. He attended school just like other ponies, learned the same material, practiced the same flying… everything about him was seemingly normal, and seemingly boring. Sure, he was teased from time to time about having such a girly surname (what kind of pony names their son Blossom?), but he ignored any naysayers with an upbeat attitude.
Yet while he grew, Frost witnessed something rather unusual… while his peers flanks became adorned with all sorts of odd symbols and marks, his remained blank. All too soon he was labeled a Blank Flank, and with that came endless teasing from the local bullies. Once more, Frost endured it with an outwardly positive demeanor, yet began to question why he was the way he was.
His parents insisted that he was simply a late bloomer (or a late blossom, as they so giddily punned), but Frost was too far gone. In his mind he believed that nothing waited for him in life, that he had no special talent or destiny, and allowed depression to eat him up from the inside.
It wasn’t until his teen years that he came out from this stupor, the need for bits overcoming his social anxiety. It was then, as he asked around about job openings, did he realize that nothing about him had changed except for the way he viewed himself. Armed with this fact and his parents’ relentless encouragement, Frost entered the working world, another pony in the system.
Although jobs are hard for him to keep, Frost is determined to make a difference somewhere and to forge his own destiny… cutie mark or not.The Roleplayer's Corner

Ensuring the letter was safely tucked into the multi-colored mailbox, Frost sighed, glancing back at his saddlebag; Yep, that was the last one. He slowly stretched his wings out in preparation to take off back to the station, but something caught his eye. There, barely noticeable in the sky, was a single dark cloud. Frost stared at it for a moment, bewildered.
“I don’t remember seeing rain in the forecast…” he mumbled, kicking off from the ground and steadying into a hover. The other clouds that dotted the sky were white and puffy, moisture free, yet this one… “Hmmm…”
As much as he could have just let the wayward cloud pass by without interruption, Frost’s curiosity got the better of him as he found himself approaching the small, depressed looking thing. Mentally, a voice chimed out that he was about to be pranked by some mischievous colt looking for a good scare, but he didn’t pay it any heed.
As he came closer, Frost slowed, looking about warily for any signs of danger, mischief or otherwise. Seeing nothing but empty skies, he became emboldened, and lightly pressed a hoof against the cloud’s surface. It came away wet; there indeed was a lot of moisture within it.
"What in Equestria are you doing up here...?" Frost mused, a flicker of a grin crossing his maw. Gently, he touched down on the cloud, feeling his hooves sag into it like a sponge. Tilting his head forward, Frost closed his eyes and listened. At first, there was nothing. But then...
"Hah, is that so... I never thought clouds would tease one another like that." Frost huffed, slumping onto his stomach. He lifted his head up, gazing out towards the other clouds that dotted the sky. "We have a lot in common."
He felt something tickle his stomach, and he chuckled.
