#Gender ; Female
#Species; Underdeveloped Changeling Queen

#Powers and Abilities ; Basic Levitation, and shape shifting. If Fangy had more training, she'd have the capacity to possibly have the ability of Chrysallis.
#Physique ; Fangy is quite slender, and slightly taller than most changelings, though this height will increase over time.

#Eye color ; Blue
#Other appearance details (optional) ; Fangy has the ability to transform into other forms, giving her a very broad variety of appearances.
#Personality ;
Fangy is a very soft spoken changeling. She is very opinionated, but, she doesn't want to overstep anyone else's opinion. That might get them sad. Or angry. Fangy prefers to remain reclusive, instead of those options, which has made her very shy, outside of her forms.
In her forms, Fangy likes to become new people, giving her the confidence her true form lacks. Going along with this, is her form, Mare Do Well! She loves becoming the vigilante, and doing what Fangy could never do. Dispensing justice, being brave, standing up for what she believes in...
Fangy loves books. Books are her guilty pleasure in life. She's loved them ever since she read her first one. It led to her owning her own book store. Reading a good book almost makes up for everything in her life. Almost.
Fangy is also very insecure. If somepony's joking with her, she'll act like it doesn't bother her. Fangy will continue to put on a smile... until she can't take it anymore. She's been known to just curl up in a ball, and lay there for hours, out of pure sadness.
A lot of Fangy's sadness comes from the way ponies treat her, if they find out she's a changeling. Fangy wants to be accepted for who she is, but because of how ponies have treated her, is afraid to. So, she hides it behind a form, finding it very difficult to show what she really is. One would need a lot of patience, and be a true friend for her to reveal her true self.
Fangy hates other changelings. It originally started when Chrysallis burned her first book right in front of her, as a child. It has built up over the years, to where the only changeling Fangy trusts is herself. And even she wonders if one day she'll become as bad as Chrysallis is.
Anger... Anger is not easily achieved with Fangy. She has one of the, kill you with kindness, mindsets. She'd rather not get into an argument. But, there are a slim few things that set Fangy off. If any of her friends are being hurt, Fangy will try her best to stand up for them. Other changelings leeching off of people she cares about will set her off even faster. But, she tries to not let it get to that. Kill them with kindness...
Love? As in, actual, towards her, the changeling, love? If that ever happened, Fangy would fall head over heels. Ever since her very first book, portraying a changeling princess falling in love, Fangy's been a hopeless romantic. But, her shy nature and insecurities makes it hard to show anyone her true self. Though, if someone were to actually have her fall in love with them, expect her to stick to them like glue, and be as kind as possible. And if they wanted her to fall out of love with them? It might require a pair of pliers, and a restraining order.
#History ;
Fangy, from a very young age, was separated, along with a number of females, as candidates for future queens. They were conditioned differently, than most other changelings, and also taught differently. Fangy learned rather quickly, but also asked a lot of questions. This didn't make things easier for her. Her instructor told her not to question what she was taught, only to learn it, so that she might one day teach it to the next generation. It seemed... repetitive, to Fangy. Why couldn't things be different?
She continued learning, and began excelling. Even Chrysallis was taking note. Then, a caravan was ransacked. Of course, most of the changelings took what they thought was valuable, and burned the rest. Fangy found a book with a changeling on the cover, and saved it from the burn pile. She hadn't found what she had expected. The book was about a young changeling princess, who fled the hive, and fell in love with the main character of the series, Gawain the Griffon. Fangy became smitten with the entire story, and tried hiding it from the other changelings. It didn't last forever. Chrysallis was the one to find it, and burned the book in front of her. She punished Fangy greatly, and told her that such books were disgusting garbage. Fangy didn't feel the same about the hive afterwards. She wanted to be free.
Fangy got her chance, when Chrysallis led the attack on Canterlot. Fangy fled in the chaos, and even found out they had lost the battle. That was her chance to disappear, without them coming after her! So, Fangy ran, far away from the hive, and assumed a persona, until it died down.
As much as Fangy wanted to show her true self, changeling hate was at an all time high. She had to listen, day in, and day out, about what foul creatures they were. And she couldn't help but agree. Fangy hated what she was. She would much rather actually be one of the forms she liked to take. Instead, she was... this.
Fangy traveled around, unsure of where she belonged. There had to be somewhere she could live... While visiting Canterlot, she heard about a vigilante in Ponyville. Mare Do Well... Fangy heard the story, and also heard about how much the townsponies loved the vigilante while she was around. Maybe... Maybe Fangy could take the guise of Mare Do Well! Sure, it wouldn't be the same kind of love, but she could still feed on it! And, she would be creating it for herself, instead of stealing it!
So, Fangy created the Mare Do Well persona. And Fangy actually enjoyed doing it. She was being brave, and confident... Two of the things she, as Fangy, couldn't normally accomplish. So, she fought criminals, and avoided the guards, doing what was right, but... She wasn't getting paid. She needed money. If only for a place to live.
So, she worked part time at different places, gathering money, while she was Mare Do Well most nights. After a long time, she gathered enough money to buy her own bookstore. Fangy opened LoveBug's Books. Fangy was very happy for a change. She could read as many books as she wanted, and still get bits.
But, Fangy knew something would happen. One day, she'd be found out. Or Chrysallis would come for her... All she could do, was sit and wait for something to go wrong...

#Age ; 16
#Gender ; Male
#How did you find us? ; I battled a one legged pirate, and stole a map. The map lead me to a cove, where I found a troll guarding a treasure. I arm wrestled him for it, and won the treasure of friendship, until an evil sorcerer stole the treasure. I chased him to his tower, and slayed him. All I found was this link in the place of the treasure.
#Sample RP ;
Fangy flipped the sign around, to say "OPEN". This was the third month she had been open, and business was... Decent. Maybe if she had a bigger store, ponies might be more interested... Maybe if she had more bits she could afford to spruce the place up a bit... It all came down to bits. Which was something that wasn't easy to acquire as a changeling.
Fangy closed her eyes, and fire surrounded her body, until blowing away, to reveal golden curls. She was now Golden Heart. She was ready to take on the day. Somewhat... At least it wasn't as bad as when she first opened.
But... It had to be up hill from here, right? She put on an optimistic face, and got behind the counter. Today was going to be good...------
Goldy stifled a yawn. No customers, all day... She kept doodling on a stray piece of paper. Goldy finished drawing the heart around the changeling princess and the griffon knight... Her eyes snapped wide open, as the door opened. Her horn glowed quickly, hiding the paper underneath a few books. "O-Oh! Welcome to LoveBug's books! How may I help you?"
"Huh? Oh, uh, I just needed directions." Goldy shrunk a little, ears lowering slightly. So, he wasn't there for her store...
"U-Um... I'd be happy to help." After a quick point in the right direction, the stallion left, leaving her alone. Golden sighed, pulling her drawing back out. When was her knight going to take her away? Whisk her off of her hooves, and save her from it all...
It was stupid to think about...
By the end of the day, only one customer had actually come in to buy books. Golden Heart closed the door, and her disguise dropped. With a flash of her horn, all the blinds fell, covering her windows. Fangy flipped the sign to say "CLOSED". Fangy walked into the back, and hopped into her hammock. She slowly looked up, seeing the Mare Do Well mask.
.... Not tonight... Fangy curled up. Not tonight...
