#Personality:
The most dominating trait of Sweetie Belle's personality is undoubtedly her enthusiasm for helping ponies. Whether it be doing laundry, cleaning, or even hauling Rarity's stuff around for her, if she can do something nice for a pony, she'll go all out and do her best. Unfortunately, she often possesses more energy than talent, and this can lead to catastrophic blunders due to a lack of skill or knowledge or even both. This may aggravate her friends and family, and can even frustrate the little filly herself, but she never stays down for long. Before you know it, she'll be back up again, trying harder than ever. And because most of her mistakes are made with the sweetest and most loving intentions, ponies find it hard to stay angry at her for long.
Sweetie Belle is, perhaps not surprisingly from a pony who loves to be helpful, rather sensitive. Though she usually keeps a cheerful and eager mood, her feelings can be easily wounded, and some might even call her a bit of a crybaby. She's also not above flying into a tantrum on occasion, when pushed too far, and she can hold a grudge for quite a while if the offending pony is equally stubborn. But Sweetie Belle can just as easily slip into the role of peacemaker between her friends, and when they're feeling low, she'll try to find something encouraging to say. Sweetie Belle's most sensitive spot is probably her sister Rarity, whom she adores. In her eyes, her older sister can do no wrong, and everything her sister says, does, and thinks is graceful, fashionable, and perfect. She wants very much to be just like Rarity!
Intelligence, at first glance, might not seem like Sweetie Belle's strongest trait. She can seem a bit slow on the uptake, maybe even downright dense, particularly when compared to Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. She often has to ask for clarification or for an explanation to be repeated. In addition, her eagerness to go along with her friend's ideas can make it seem like she doesnt have many of her own. But this little filly is far from being dumb. Sweetie Belle trusts her heart and instincts. She often realizes before other ponies her age when she's doing something wrong and is often the first to say so. She takes turns with the other Cutie Mark Crusaders in putting forth ideas, and though none of her ideas (or theirs) have resulted in a cutie mark yet, they're all a lot of fun!
#History :
Sweetie Belle was born in Ponyville, a second child, to a retired football star and a hairdresser, and has lived there ever since. One might, if they considered Rarity’s tendencies to be overly dramatic and high strung, believe that Sweetie Belle had a difficult babyhood, fighting her older sister for every ounce of attention, but it simply wasn’t true. Rarity was often like a second mother to Sweetie Belle, playful and generous and protective of her younger sister. The little filly never had to wear hand-me-downs. Her older sister was always ready and eager to make her little sister a new outfit to wear, to give good advice, to protect her from little bullies. Of course, the little filly grew to adore her sister!
When Rarity moved out to open her store, Sweetie Belle found it difficult to adjust, even though she was still in Ponyville. She was friendly with the other colts and fillies in her class, but she lacked any real close friends. A bit sheltered and naive, she really didn’t know how to make them. And they were all getting their cutiemarks and learning about their destinies, while her flank remained worryingly blank. But that was all to change when she received an invitation to a cute-ceañera for one of her classmates, Diamond Tiara.
She didn’t really want to go. But then again, if she didn’t go and it was noticed, Diamond Tiara might take offense and really make her life miserable! So, as soon as she was there, she hid underneath a table. It turned out to be a popular thing to do, as she was joined by Scootaloo shortly after! They were both just waiting for the party to be over when there was a commotion and Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon started picking on another classmate without a cutie mark, Apple Bloom. In an instant, Scootaloo jumped to the earth pony’s defense, and Sweetie Belle followed up shortly after, insisting that having a blank flank didn’t mean a pony wasn’t special, it meant that they were full of potential!
Before she knew what was happening, Sweetie Belle found herself with two new best friends and a membership to a new secret society, The Cutiemark Crusaders! They began to have all kinds of fun adventures together, like repairing a clubhouse, having a sleepover atRarity’sFluttershy’s, Entering a talent show, and working on the Foal Free Press together! So far, none of them have their cutiemarks yet but who knows what tomorrow holds? The Roleplayer's Corner

#Sample RP:
Oh, this was great! This was going to surprise Rarity so much! Sweetie Belle looked around the showroom of her sister’s Carousel Boutique. Every surface sparkled, shimmered, or gleamed. Rarity, of course, was never messy, but Sweetie Belle had gotten up extra extra early to give her sister’s shop an extra extra special spring cleaning while she was out gem hunting! She’d shaken the dust out of all the curtains and rugs and clothes, and hung them up outside to air. She’d scrubbed every inch of floor, polished all the wood, and shined the glass inside and out until you couldn’t even tell it was there! But only the shop floor. She’d learned her lesson about cleaning Rarity’s room! And then she’d put everything back just the way it was, without messing up a single thing this time! Yep, every detail was perfect, right down to the muddy paw prints Opalescence was tracking in through the front door.
Wait, what?! Sweetie Belle glanced sharply at the white persian, who was unconcernedly rubbing up against a velvet curtain, leaving it covered in white cat hair in her wake. “Opaaaal!” groaned the filly with a stamp of her hoof, “I worked really hard to clean this place up and you’re ruining it!” the feline paused to give her a disdainful, unconcerned look that only cats can master, and went right back to her rubbing. ”Maybe, since I cleaned everything up,” wondered the filly aloud, ”I should give you a bath too! I bet Rarity would be really happy about that! C’mon Opal!” as quickly decided as spoken, the unicorn filly scooped up the cat and dashed off to the laundry room.
Sweetie Belle gently tossed the startled feline into the ready washtub, full of soapy water. Of course, it was full of laundry detergent and not shampoo, but that didn’t matter, did it? Soap was soap, and it all got you clean. The little filly picked up the box of soap flakes and shook some more in. For a moment, and only a moment, Opal sat still, in frozen disbelief at what was being done to her. Then, with a furious, yowling wail, the cat exploded out of the tub, taking at least two-thirds of the soapy water with her.
”OPAL! NO, WAIT!” Sweetie Belle lunged to catch her sister’s Persian, but she slipped and tipped the recently vacated washtub, spilling the remaining water. But she had no time to worry about that, Opalescence was getting away! Sweetie Belle chased the furious feline all over the house, knocking over dress forms and furniture, tracking soapy water upstairs and downstairs, tearing long gashes in Rarity’s curtains with her kitty-claws, and giving Sweetie Belle a fierce swipe with her claws whenever the filly got anywhere near her. At last, the little unicorn leapt off the stairs and trapped Opal under a laundry basket.
...Just as Rarity walked in through the door.
