"Shut up! When I find you I'm going to rip you to pieces and-" Tech stopped himself as he approached the mountaintop. "Why am I even bothering talking to you? You're just a figment of Elsa's imagination." No point in talking to something that didn't even exist. Tech existed, so he had power over the voice.
Landing by the cave entrance, Tech continued into the cave without hesitation. As he walked in, he closed his eyes and focused his thoughts.
I have a helmet with a flashlight attached to it.
Opening his eyes, he could see the path ahead of him illuminated by a light directly above his head. Even if the odd crystals gave off light, he didn't know how much there would be deeper in the caves.
As tech moves forward into the cave, the crystals behind him stop glowing, being replaced by darkness. In front of him, more Crystals start to emit light, as if their light is following him. After a very, very long walk, the pathway splits into two paths. One marked with a Single scratch carved into the floor, the other with two parallel scratches.
Along the walls of both caves were nonsensical carvings, nothing recognizable by outsiders. "And the hero must make a choice. What do the symbols mean? Petroglyphs of unknown origin..." The voice paused fora few moments, a rumbling laughter erupting from down both pathways. "Choose wisely. One may spell your doom."
Tech hasn't noticed that the crystals behind him had stopped glowing, keeping his focus on the path ahead of him alone. His mind was as if it was on pause as he walked down the long path, with his goal being the only thing that occupied it. Even when doing something completely unrelated, some part of his mind would always be thinking of ideas or plans for things he could create or build. But not now.
Reaching the fork in the road, Tech sighed and listened to the voice. "Yeah, whatever." Like he thought before, he wasn't playing the voice's game anymore. Not by its rules, at least. He felt it was a little odd that the voice called him the 'hero' though. Wasn't Elsa the hero?
I can understand the carvings on the walls.
Tech moved closer to the wall and read the carvings on both sides, then, if they told him which direction to go, that is where he went.
The petroglyphs held no answers. The paths were both similar to one another, and the only discerning difference being the second mark on the left path.
For times sake, we're saying he went through the left pathway. As Tech wandered forward, the red crystals appeared again, shifting and showing visions. A first person view of someone running into a fence, angering bees. Then a small purple griffon running for her life. Then, finally, a view of someone crawling under a pile of plywood and the vision going black.
One final panel showed Tech, standing between the viewer and a LARGE, jet black dragon. 'YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER! I WONT ALLOW IT!' Visiontech, who was actually a Griffon, shouted. Just in time for a red mist to erupt from the dragon, wrapping around the griffon. As the mist faded, Tech remained, only his feathers and fur had shifted, solidifying into red crystals. And then, the vision repeated itself.
"Fate is inescapable. You've been down this path before. No matter what you do, you're going to become a statue, and I'll put you on display..." The voice said again, a passageway opening up at the end of the hallway, leading into a circular room with another Void-Pony standing, no glowing coming from it.
A reflection in a nearby crystal would show Tech as his normal griffon self, not as the pony he had been moments ago... But what does it mean?
Cursing as the the glyphs revealed no answer, Tech took a deep breath and went down the left path. He watched as the crystals showed him seemingly random images, confused. "What were those? If those were in Elsa's dream...then they must be her memories, most likely," said while talking to himself. It seemed like a reasonable conclusion, but with that not being important at the moment, he continued onward.
Then he saw the final images of what seemed to be what happened in the dream's past. So I was an Earth Pony because there already was a Tech in this dream... Walking into the open passageway, Tech looked the void pony with an unamused expression. "Things are different this time." He noticed in the reflection of a nearby crystal that he appeared to be his normal self again, causing him to smile a little. "I'm the one in control now."
I have a laser rifle in my talons.
With that, Tech held up the rifle and fired a volley of shots at the void pony. "Let's see you take on this!"
The shots fired forward. Screeching from the gun, the scent of burning metal filling the air behind the beams... And seemed to pass right through the void pony, leaving it unharmed. Where the bolts passed through, bright lights shone, locking on to Tech.
"Chall...enge...? Fun...!" The pony said, moving forward toward Tech. Inky black wings sprouting from its sides as lights shifted to form another cutie mark.
The wings flared, and the abyssal pony flew forward, aiming straight for Techs midsection. As it closed the distance, it spun, a dark energy building up in front of it, looking like a dark purple spear.
"Crap!" Seeing the shots pass right through the void pony without so match as scratching it, Tech tensed up and got ready to dodge its incoming attack. Just as the void pony flew forward, Tech jumped straight up, and flared his wings to take flight, the jetpack still attached to his back giving him the boost he needed to get out of the way in time. Looks like this won't be as easy as I had hoped. But as long as I have the power to create I want, I can't lose. I just have to figure out what will work and what won't...
Getting a look at the void pony from up above, Tech took a moment to study it after it missed with its attack. That star alignment...that's...Scorpio, I think. If it's Scorpio, then maybe this weapon will work...
My gun is a bow. I have a quiver on my back that always has arrows in it.
Reaching behind him to pull an arrow from his quiver he readied it with the bow and fired it at the void pony from above. He would have took time to believe himself into knowing how to use a bow, but coincidentally he already knew how to use one. Having a father in the military had its perks.
Tech flew upward, the Void pony shooting right past where he was standing. Arrows rained down on the void, and the pony stopped moving. A deep, guttural laugh coming from it. Soon, Tech would feel a pressure in his back as he was pushed back toward the ground. After being tackled to the ground, and the dust clearing Tech would see not one, but two void Ponies, standing side by side.
Their size and Mane shapes were identical. The two were Identical in every way except the starry cutie marks.
The second Void jumped up, pushing off the other and shooting into the air and spiraling, creating a twisting vortex of darkness around it, the one on the ground doing the same, coming straight for Tech from the front.

As the two ponies moved, each struck Tech with significant force, knocking the Griffon against the wall of the cave, and down the wall in a heap. As he hit the ground, the Shadows seemed to dive through him, causing a red crystal to rise from the ground and encompass the Griffon entirely in a Crimson Coffin.

As Tech was consumed by the crimson coffin thing, several blasts of magical energy were shot towards the void ponies. With the smoke and debris of the attack serving as an impromptu smokescreen, a new pony entered the fray. ”There’s no need to fear. The Great and Powerful Trixie is here!” the showmare said, allowing her voice to echo as she stood triumphantly facing the enemies.
She felt rather invigorated by this whole thing. After being rescued from her own dream and being made aware of the whole dream world thing, being here gave her a sense of power. More importantly, however, she was now under the mentorship of Princess Luna herself. In a sense this was her first task to impress her new mentor, and she was not interested in letting her down. She was going to come in, rescue this griffon, and get out without a hitch.
”Now then, Elsa, are you around here?” she asked, hoping to actually spot the target of the rescue mission. Hopefully she could convince her of the dreamness without needing to battle too many ponies.
Both of the shadowy ponies were thoroughly removed from existence by the flashy unicorn. The Gem itself remained unbroken with the larger Griffon trapped inside with seemingly no way out.
As Trixie shouted her introduction, the room itself seemed to shift, part of the wall opening as a Large, Jet black dragon crawled into the room, looking at the Unicorn that had defeated Gemini. He leaned down close to Trixie, seeming to Sniff her for a moment. "You're a new one... Who exactly are you?" He asked, his deep rumbling voice shaking the cavern.
A large clawed hand reached down, grabbing the gem and hung it from the ceiling like a cage, poking it to make it swing. "Oh, you're here for Her, are you?" The Dragon asked, watching the swinging crystal for a moment before looking back down to Trixie. "Sorry, but you can't have her... What was it? Grape and Pomegranate Trix?"

Trixie grinned victoriously as her blasts utterly destroyed the shadow pony things. It felt great having this kind of power, even if it was only a dream. Maybe she could ask Luna about magical beam blasts once everypony was awake?
Of course, the sight of a giant black dragon shifting into view did kind of dampen Trixie’s spirit just a little bit. It was pretty much on par with meeting an Ursa Major in terms of the “oh crap” factor after all. She even had to take a step back as it sniffed her and questioned who she was. Did he not hear her entrance speech? Well, Trixie always enjoyed explaining who she was
”I am the Great and Powerful Trixie, personal apprentice to the princess of the night herself, Princess Luna,” she said, her stance gaining more confidence as she reaffirmed her new position.
From the look of things, this dragon really liked to keep ponies in crystal gems. She was going to have to be real careful if she was going to rescue Elsa and not get trapped herself.
”That is Great and Powerful Trixie, and unfortunately for you Trixie can’t leave without her. Either you can hand her over or Trixie will have to defeat you with amazing magical abilities,” she said, giving a grin as she summoned up about half a dozen illusions of herself. Fortunately, being a dream, she could easily shift her position so she was mixed in with all the illusionary selves.
The dragon listened to the showmares explanation of who she was. The princess of the night? The Dragon raised an eyebrow, then laughed. "Princess of the night? I don't think you understand what the night truly is, little pony." The dragon stood at its full height, spreading its wings wide.
The underside of his wings seemed to paint a picture of the night sky, stars swirling into existence. "I am the ruler of the stars." He said, sweeping a large claw at one of the illusory Trixies, trying to find the real one. "None can stand against Zodiac." He assured, slamming his wings closed to blow a blast of air forward.

Okay, dragon standing at full height with the cosmos appearing on its wings was rather intimidating. But, this was a dream; Trixie had nothing to fear and all the creativity she could muster at her disposal.
”Ruler of the stars? Trixie guesses that’s a fitting title for someone full of hot air like you,” the illusion said as it was swiped out of existence.
The real Trixie, meanwhile, was trying to find an angle of attack. The easiest way would be to just try and collapse the cave, but that could cause issues for her and Elsa. Oh, and that Tech fellow; she should probably rescue him too. Even if he was kind of rude to Trixie back in the Crystal Empire.
Before she could think of something else, however, the dragon put forth a giant gust of wind, knocking Trixie and the illusions back. The force dispelled the illusions, leaving the real Trixie behind. Getting up, she shook a little to get herself back into the zone and faced the dragon down.
”Impressive, but Trixie too is a master of weather and win. Watch and be amazed as Trixie summons up a storm you have never seen before!”
She greatly appreciated having learned that lightning cloud trick, because now powered by dream world powers she was using it to create a horrible gust and rain. Sure, she was getting drenched, but the dragon would be too. Once it was distracted, she shot forth a bolt of lightning at it.
As Trixie conjured up her storm, and her cloak and hat whipped in the wind, a figure appeared next to her. Another Unicorn garbed similarly to Trixie, but in colors of brown and black, with a scarf covering his nose and mouth. It watched as the Lightning bolt tore forward and hit the large dragon, knocking him back a ways. The shadowy figure turned his gaze to Trixie, stamped a hoof on the ground, and a sigil seemed to appear in front of her.
The figure nodded to Trixie, then to the Sigil, then finally to the Dragon, who was slowly recovering from the shock to his system. As the dragon stood, glaring back at Trixie, the figure seemed to fade away, back into the aether. "A nice trick, but a Dragons Scales are sturdier than that, little pony." It said, lowering his head until his chin almost touched the ground. "Unlike Pony Flesh." He grinned, inhaled deeply, and exhaled a torrent of dark flame toward Trixie.
