●Personality:Sweetie Drops is a very quiet young filly, and one could not be blamed in assuming that she cannot speak. The list of ponies that have ever heard her speak is a short list occupied by her close family. However, this does not mean that she does not say anything. For all the expression she does not show with words, she nearly makes up for in her postures and expressions. One may think she is mute, but they will never lack for a sense of how she feels. There is a lot of shyness, but as she grows more comfortable in a place or with others, she will interact with them in her quiet manner, and sometimes with silly results.
Another pronounced part of Sweetie’s personality is her love of pretending. She loves costumes or games with an aspect of pretending to them. Often, if she is in motion, she is having fun imagining herself as the character of a story she has heard or a movie she has seen (if a very quiet, shy version of that character). If she has to be still, and there is nothing to keep her occupied, she might just start playing with objects, imagining them into something more fun. Tall napkin dispensers become tall buildings with a bunch of ponies in them, and inside is a filly seeing where her mom works, or maybe she is the mom, coming up with ideas for neat toys for her company, or maybe she is in charge of what cartoons her company makes and is also in charge of coming up with them too, and so on until she finds out she can go play again.
As far as the simple things are concerned, Sweetie is a typical, nice kid. She loves sweets (especially her big sister Tooie’s) and cute songs she can sing to (at least, in her head), and she might say he hates naps until she is out like a light snuggled up to someone she trusts. She is a force of chaos if allowed into a packed closet or costume store, and goes through crayons like they are candy. She tends to like most ponies after a while, but she has not learned how to take jokes and everything that might be meaner than that very well and so can be hurt a bit easily. She does not get angry easily, however, but if she gets scared, she has a mean kick for her age, which is to say that she has something in common with her sisters. Her dislikes are various. She has not learned what things in ponies she does not like, but she knows other things. She does not like spicy stuff, angry music, and is pretty much scared of any animal more threatening than a kitten.
●History:Sweetie Drops is the youngest of eight children: seven sisters and one brother. Most of them still live at home, and home is something called a high-rise condo in Manehattan. She does not really know what the difference between her house and others’ is, but she has heard many times that once upon a time, they did not live in such a nice place. Being so young, the value of certain dishes, floors, or furniture is lost on her. The only thing she really knows or understands about her home that made her smile is that, because it was so high up, she could look out her window to another tall building, and imagine all the different ponies inside while she plays. And sadly, she got perhaps too much time to do that. Being the quiet baby sister in a home with preoccupied siblings and busy parents, she was not neglected, but not terribly paid attention to once she did not need a foal’s level of supervision. In her first year of school, she had trouble with her peers with following directions and with her grades, and then she often came home distant, tired, and unhappy. It was looking like she was not meant for Manehattan’s big city attitudes, and while this went on, her parents were often too busy to give her more than comfort in passing.
But then, one day, her oldest sister, Bon Bon, came and visited Manehattan. The last time she had seen her, she was nearly too young to remember. Bon Bon (or Tooie around the home) noticed her, even in the hectic environment of the condo, even made time just to spend with her and get to know her. The night before Tooie was about to go home to Ponyville, Sweetie Drops cried and made a wish. It was a wish spoken to her favorite stuffed rabbit, Mr. Harestyle, who had been the companion of every sister at some point or another. I don’t want Tooie to go. I want her to stay. She fell asleep saying those words to Mr. Harestyle in a nightlit, small room where she could see the moon’s reflection in the windows of the neighboring high-rise. The next day, everypony sat down in the living room for the first time in and long as she could remember. She thought that, for sure, she was going to have to say goodbye to her oldest sister, who smiled at her and always smelled like candy. Her fears did not come to pass. Instead, her parents said that they had heard that she has been having trouble, that they were worried that Sweetie Drops needed to try someplace a little calmer. It was then that they asked her if she would like to try living with Bon Bon in Ponyville for a while, see if that would help. She had never been given a choice like that before. It scared her still, but when her parents assumed aloud that meant “no,” Sweetie yelled “Yes!” surprising even herself.
The next day, she walked onto the train car with Bon Bon, clinging to her, looking to the strangers around them with fear, the family on the train platform with sadness, but to her sister, after she shed her little tears and the tallest skyscraper was out of sight, with a hopeful smile. The Roleplayer's Corner

●Sample RP:Look, Mr. Harestyle. I’ve got flowers for Tooie! She said this to Mr. Harestyle with a look and a smile. He always understood her, no matter what. He brushed his poofy white pompa-something with a blue brush and gave her a look too. That’s super, Bunny! Don’t forget a nice flower pot and a ribbon to tie it with, though! She gasped. You’re right! I need to make the flowers pretty so Tooie can taken em’ home with her! She stood up from the flowers she had collected and started to walk out of her room, which was today the Super Welcome Squad Headquarters. I’ll be back, Mr. Harestyle! I promise! Her face was an intent face, a loyal sister’s face, ready to do what it took. Mr. Harestyle saluted her courage, and she turned and left the room.
Sweetie Drops walked the light wood floors from her room into the Manehattan Market, where she could find absolutely anything. Bon Jour, one of her big sisters, walked in front of her towards one of the Market benches. She was up so early! “Hey Bunny! What’re you today, huh?” Her big sister was funny because she didn’t listen. Last week, Sweetie Drops was, in fact, a Princess, but learning how to be one for later. The week before that, she was a briefcase pony, just like their parents, but she was just trying it out! Sweetie Drops looked to her sister with the same proud little face she showed to her partner and best friend. “I’m … making flowers for Tooie …” “Out of what? Actually, probably best that I don’t know. Just don’t make too big a mess, yeah?” Jour walked to her favorite part of the market, the couch bench. Sweetie Drops’ face fell a little. Her big sister was probably making a surprise too though … needed time to get ready, just like her!
She walked into the best part of the market. It had all these places where you could find whatever you needed if you opened all the tiny doors and just looked for them. And so she did. She found more than a few things that were Funny Whachamacallits, and a lot of things that were Cute Stuff, but a perfect thing to hold Tooie’s flowers … after opening almost every little door, she found it! It was blue and curvy and would be so pretty. Tooie would notice her for sure! And so she took the flower holding pot and rolled it out of the little-door part of the market with her nose. Soon enough, she was back in the Headquarters. Mr. Harestyle’s eyes lit up. Bunny! That’s perfect! But oh no, you forgot the ribbon! She gasped. That was right! She couldn’t give these flowers to anypony without a ribbon! Her tiny hooves scratching at the floor, she changed direction and ran back out to the market! There would have to be something perfect there, there must have!
And soon, she returned, pulling a ribbon into the room with her teeth. Mr. Hairstyle nodded his approval the way he did when he was really happy with her; he wiggled his nose a bunch. Sweetie Drops answered him with a small note, too gentle to be a much of a giggle. At that point, she had everything as she knew it. The only thing left was to be it together! And so she did, bringing the flowers, flower pot, and ribbon into her Learning Princess Castle next to her bed and starting getting ready. She imagined that face she saw on the end table, held in a picture frame, a face with a funny smile and under the bounciest mane any of the sisters had. Tooie would notice her for sure!
A few rooms over, in the kitchen, a mare hung her head in smiling annoyance. “Hey! Where’s all my soup spoons? And my saucepan? Has anyone seen my hair tie? Those things are everywhere … what happened to this place?!”
