Applejack smiled a little brighter when Soarin' seemed to take to her idea. She had to do her best to keep any obvious self-satisfaction out of her expression though. After all, her power of suggestion really did work! She hadn't expected Soarin' to immediately feel the need to take off and pay their mutual friend a visit, so his remark of "not right now" didn't detract from her sense of success any. Just being pretty sure that the Wonderbolt might drop in to see Rainbow Dash later was enough for her. It made her happy of how excited her friend would be about the Wonderbolt's visit, and she felt good in knowing that she had something to do with arranging that.
With that secret motive now taken care of, Applejack's mind shifted from that to treating Soarin' like a guest. He was a nice fellow, and she certainly wouldn't mind getting to know him a bit better. The stallion was keeping the conversation going and changed to subject to the family farm. Now there was a subject that Applejack never had any trouble talking about. Now she was able to show a bit of pride in her posture. There was no harm in that, since she and her family took good care of the family business. She chuckled a bit at Soarin's "Pegasi Catching" remark before answering his question.
"Ya'll would be guessin' right," she said with a nod. "This 'ere is Sweet Apple Acres, Ponyville's very own apple farm an' dealer of apple products." She didn't think that Soarin' was from around Ponyville, hence the formal introduction.
"That would be what all these trees are for. You name it, an' ah can bet ya that we probably make it. Apple cider, apple fritters, Zap Apple jam..." She paused for a moment during her listing, starting to remember something.
"Well, shoot, ya' probably get tha picture," she said with a wave of her hoof. "After all, ya'll already saw all tha stuff ah was sellin' at tha Grand Galloping Gala."
