#Personality ;
Silver Breeze, or Storm to most ponies, is a very introverted
individual. While she is far from shy, she prefers time to
herself and large crowds tend to annoy and exhaust her. She is
easily irritable and doesn't take easily to strangers. Trust is a
difficult thing for her, so being her friend is quite a feat,
especially since she has so few. In fact, she has more enemies
than she does actual friends; possibly due to her excessive
sarcasm. It isn't that she doesn't want friends, but more likely
that she uses it as a defense mechanism to prevent herself from
getting hurt.
Yet another flaw in her oh-so-charming personality might be her
impatience. She is often restless and dislikes waiting around.
This sometimes leads her to be blunt or crass, and may make her
appear arrogant. Assuming the latter, however, would be a
mistake. One of the things she hates in particular is arrogance,
and isn't afraid to call out a cocky pony when she sees one. This
is helped along by the fact that she could beat most of them in a
one-on-one competition of most types, especially athletic ones.
While she is also very intelligent (bourne from spending nights
holed up in her room reading), she prefers not to boast this and
would rather accept a more physical challenge. The exception to
this is actual fighting. While she isn't afraid to punch a
pompous pony, she knows she would probably lose in a hoof fight. She may be fast in the air, but she isn't very agile on the
ground.
Despite knowing her limits, she's actually quite reckless and she
often acts tougher than she actually is. Perhaps this is because
she grew up with an older brother and she knows cowering in a
corner won't really get her anywhere, but perhaps it also has
something to do with her tomboyishness. She acts very much like a colt, enjoying sports while disliking any sort of fashion. It's
also arguable that both her act of toughness and her
tomboyishness are because she has a brother. Being the middle child had other effects on her personality as well. For example, she is extremely protective and possessive of her belongings, since her younger siblings had a nasty habit of taking her stuff. Storm still loves the twins, though, and would do anything for them. In fact, she's very loyal to all the ponies she cares deeply about, protecting them fiercely. While she may get mad at them sometimes, she knows she will never hate them.
The only pony who might be an exception is Grey Cloud, her older brother. He is the entire reason her parents were so disappointed with her. While he earned top marks in school and constantly had social events to attend, she barely scraped by with C's and almost never left her house except for Stormball practice. Part of her lack of social life was due to the fact that she was constantly babysitting the twins, since her parents were always going out with some excuse or another.
Other than babysitting and Stormball, Silver has spent most of her time reading books in her room. She has a lot of theoretical knowledge, but hasn't had the chance to gain much hooves-on experience. She also loves chocolate, flying, and, of course, writing. Her favorite color is green for reasons she has always refused to reveal, and she hates lizards and dogs.
#History ;
Silver Breeze was the second child born to a middle-class family. Her brother, Grey Clouds, was popular and smart, acing all his classes and still finding time to make plenty of friends. Silver Breeze was stifled by his shadow, barely passed her classes, and tended to push ponies away. She was the exact opposite of Grey Clouds, who was two years older than her. Silver did have a few close friends, such as North Star, though she also tended to make enemies, like Golden Daze. Golden took pleasure in making Silver's life difficult.
When Silver was still a child, her mother gave birth to twins--Dawn Rise and Dusk Swirl. Silver Breeze was often stuck with babysitting duties while Grey Clouds went to his frequent social events. While she thought it unfair, she truly didn't mind much. She loved her younger siblings to death, even if she wasn't good at showing it all the time.
Silver Breeze was nicknamed "Storm" when she became the star of her high school's Varsity Stormball team as a freshman. It was one of the few things she enjoyed, and one thing she had that her brother didn't. Her teammates were mostly meatheads, but she tolerated them with a minimum of sarcasm, knowing she needed them to like her. Or at least not hate her.
As a sophomore in high school, Silver auditioned for the school's annual play and landed the leading role easily. The play solidified her reputation as an irreversible tomboy, as the main character was a stallion. She easily portrayed herself as male, deepening her voice and puffing out her chest. It was from that moment that she fell in love with theater. She didn't get her cutie mark until the next year (even the twins had theirs before she did!) when the drama teacher was at a loss for a play to put on that year. Silver Breeze stayed up for three days straight writing it. She played a minor part in the play, having decided the main role was more fitting to someone such as North Star, her best friend and (although reluctant) also a great actress. She didn't notice her cutie mark had appeared until she returned home from the opening night of the play and the twins started chattering about it excitedly.
As a senior, she just managed to get high enough grades to graduate, at which point she was offered an entry position in a traveling theatre troupe. At the moment, she is still just a stage hand, making sure the set pieces are in place at the proper times and keeping the actors on time. She loves it, though, since she gets to participate in a play almost every night. She's good friends with a few of the cast members, and also keeps in touch with North Star, who does her best to come to all the shows. The Roleplayer's Corner

Storm trotted through the streets of Manehattan, enjoying the sights. While she usually didn't like overly loud places, she loved this town. It was full of opportunities and everypony here was just so...interesting. It was quite a beautiful city, she thought. Lots of ponies disliked it because it was what they called a 'concrete jungle', but she didn't think so. She was thoroughly enjoying herself just wandering aimlessly around town, taking everything in.
Which was to say, she was lost. Very, very lost. Not that she would admit it to anypony. Although...her troupe was expecting her back to help set up a stage soon. Her stage manager would nag her all night if she was even a minute late--she swore the guy hated her. Perhaps it would be best to stop and ask for directions, even if she detested the idea. So, sighing heavily, she looked around for somepony who looked like they knew what they were doing.
She spotted one not too far away, trotting down the street purposefully and briskly, unlike the tourists who walked slowly and took lots of pictures. She hurried to catch up with the pony, trying to match their pace.
"Um, excuse me! Could you tell me which way the theatre is?"
