Applejack gave a bit of a chuckle at Cloud Twister's farewell. She was actually about to say 'don't be a stranger' herself, which probably would've made more sense since she actually had a place where she could easily be found. However, as vague as "somewhere" was, she knew what he meant. She appreciated it too. Maybe they would run into each other at random again someday.
"Take care partner," Applejack said with a friendly smile and nod, right before the pegasus took to the sky. She found herself tilting her head ever so slightly, letting her hat deflect most of the wind from Cloud Twister's take-off. Once the initial gust was gone, she looked up into the sky to see how high up he had managed to climb. Despite his height, she still saw him wave, prompting her to wave back in return. Then, he darted off at top speed. Applejack couldn't help but chuckle again softly to herself and shake her head. He was a bit of a show-off, was he? Honestly, she could imagine him getting along pretty well with Rainbow Dash. Well, either that or they'd just try and see who could look the most impressive the whole time.
With Cloud Twister gone, Applejack began to gather up her tools. Broken roof and all, she had enjoyed meeting the new pony. Maybe they'd run into each other again someday and be able to talk without the pressure of work upon them. After all, this meeting had been rather unexpected. Who was to say that the unexpected wouldn't happen again? She supposed that only time would tell though.
As nice as getting to know somepony new had been, Applejack knew that she had to shift gears now and get back to work. She tossed her saddlebag of tools over her withers and let out a sigh. Carefully, she began her decent down the ladder. Once she had her hooves back on solid ground, it was off to continue her day.
(Aaaand that just about sums it up!)
